  • BRUTAL!!!!!!

  • ;)

  • Epic performance! in my opinion, one of there best! ^_*) great vid NV, lol!

  • ¿Por qué no hicieron un DVD? :S

  • EPIC!

  • I love this song!

  • today's Depeche Mode live sound is SO THIN compared to this one ......pity

  • Die beste Band der Welt...;-))

  • great live version of this classic song

  • Espectacular!!!! eran mis comienzos como fan del Grupo... que lindo recuerdo...

  • I think devotional was great too!!!......

  • Ich find es total ätzend, das der Sänger andauernd auf der Bühne rotzen muß!! Die armen Roadies, die den Dreck beim abbauen anfassen müßen!!

  • hell yeah - very good sound for live.

To the discussion of beats - i prefer the programmed beats too.

Dave sings here much better than nowadays - the "down" and "a"s and .. but he`s still very good. Anyone seen, he`s spittin on the stage?

  • smth special indeed , smth deep.......

  • yes , no drum on stage . I wonder how much quality they lose without alan's live arrangements , but it is life .

  • Without Alan they're lost, he made different sound fantastic, now they're just surfing on their legend.

  • @GuiR3X I am so sick of hearing how crappy DM are without Alan. Have you even bothered to listen to Alan's music that he created in Recoil? It's dark and perverted and no one liked it. Which is why he stopped in March 6, 2000 so get over it. DM are dark but if you are into B&D and sexual perversion go listen to Manson and stop sniveling that your GOD left, and thankfully so. I much prefer DM without him.

  • @silviak07 YES i have listened to Recoil, and i love it. You have to know that he didn't stop in 2000, since his latest album "Subhuman" was released in 2007, to the pleasure of thousand of fans.

I will take no blame from you billyboy, i have been enjoying DM's music since the very start, i still have "Dreaming of me" in vinyl. I ve seen all the tours between 1986-1998. IF you can't see what DM has lost with Alan's departure, you have no ears, so i can't do much for you.

  • @silviak07 Alan is the one that made DM last, because he gave them the musicianship, and added the Dark side you hate so much which gave them credibility.

Alan was the one to produce the tracks, to work in the studio, to do the remixes and the backing tapes for the live. You apparently have no idea of what was his impact. Without Alan there's no "behind the wheel", no "enjoy the silence", no "little 15" and it goes on and on and on. Read a bit, watch the EPK's of the remasters, and learn.

  • @GuiR3X

and i dare add , without Alan WIlder , there wouldn't have been DM anymore after their crappy early coupe of albums ( before Alan's joning the band of course ) .

We are talking about a pioneer of the sampling , an extremely talented and trained musician , who mouldered poppy DM cheesy early sound into a dark and atmospheric one ; timeless

  • @alanwilder81 Totally agreed.

  • @silviak07 Recoil music is PERFECTLY produced, even better than what he did for DM. Recoil music tells a story. It is art, it is music. Not for the masses, not easy-listening. "Nobody likes it" or number of fans dont count (otherwise you need to prefer the current charts over DM, coz DM never was that high in charts). DM sound nowadays is thin, it sounds empty, ... this is what many people say. Oh by the way, one doesn't have to be into B&D and stuff to be fascinated by that in music or movies.

  • @silviak07 go back to your kuchnia and stfu sylwus

  • The best ! Pozdrawiam Michów k/Lubartowa ! Zajebista muzyczka !

  • No Drummer on Stage and the Classic Line-Up. The Best Tour was World Violation 1990 - 1991

  • @pignitter

I liked Alan on the drums during the Devotional tour.

  • @pignitter Yeah. Miss Alan Wilder.

  • Every concert after Violator tour, when this song is proformed. The version of this song is shot

  • I totally agree about the drums

  • hammer sound

  • What happened to Martin's "See the stars..." bit in the 101 version? I've heard it in every live rendition (including this one) after it.

  • Dave hade a great voice back then very crisp , very clean , nowdays not so much:(

  • Age and cigars can have that effect.

  • Yup, sadly his voice has gone tragic. Such a shame.

  • @slobodan77 Indeed, trying to become a ROCK star he lost what made DM so different for many many fans.

  • this is a higher level, very good

  • oh man, amazing!!!!

  • It sounds much better with pre programmed drums than live drums

  • I agree. Most of the band's pre-Ultra songs sound better with pre-programmed drums.

  • DM will live forever!!!! Sounds of the universe is coming!!!

  • Timeless!!

  • Thank you for sharing this amazing video. I adore them mainly Martin L. Gore. :D

  • fucking hell

  • Dave with pure arrogance. Very cool...

  • well..this is dave in his best performance

  • Lo MAXIMO!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent live version!

    Let me see those hands!!!

  • GRACIAS!!!!! buena calidad de imagen para ser un piratilla.
