@phillydwight - not sure when i"ll get to this, but listening to it on the cd, he is playing a open C chord through most of it, and the riff is in that position, picking out the open G string and then adding the pinky to 3rd fret D string on and off, all in the open C position. the chord change is to F. i see him on some vids doing it in diffeerent keys, where he plays it in a D shape. let me know if this is making sense to you
@csx4 sort of making sense - i saw him doing it capoed on third fret with a 12 string and it is just soo cool - and gotta tell ya - i sub to a lot of acoustic music peeps on here - your my fave! we have the same musical taste and you being pretty damned good dont hurt at all - KEEP EM COMING!
@phillydwight - thanks man, i appreciate that!! bruce likes to play songs in diff keys sometimes, and these guys tune the guitar to open chords as well which allows them to play in chord shapes that they like better. the way i explained it to you should be as easy as any to play that song. its just a matter of getting that timing and riff down solid. the song i think is only 2 chords. good luck with it, and keep on playin
intro is 5th string 5th fret- 4th string 4th fret- and 3rd string open, start on 5th and pick back and forth.
bridge is F maj to A min to D maj. when you get to the D you can sub in the intro there again. it would be the 2nd guitar there. all chords relative to capo on 3rd fret
Muito massa! I like it a lot!
