where do these gymnasts get their knee pads. I was looking for the type that anna bessonova has, but i can't find them anywhere. Anybody know. I think there should be like a website or something where i could order them, if not, where do they get them? Anybody know? My knees really hurt after practices and the knee pads i've tried are reallybad, they eather are too small for me and kill my legs, or too big and fall down, i can;t seem to find the right ones. Viner has to be banned a long time ago,since the world champion in Madrid 2001.

Actually, Deriugina was banned from judging until the 2013 season starts. Deriugina can still attend the Olympics as Bessonova and Godunko's coach.

The FIG wanted to ban Viner from attending the 2008 olympics as a coach, but they never made a decision in time.

For me too, Anya is the best, and I would like her to perform in Las Vegas shows, or in French famous cabarets, or in corps de ballets, to earn more than in Ukraine (and I am crying alone thinking she is going to stop competition soon). But technically, did you notice on pictures: she usually doesn't point her toes in great jumps (is "jump" the good word in English?). Why her coachs don't tell her to point her feet? I don't understand.

Well we all have our opinions and thats to be respected but I have to agree with Kaja. Just watch kabaeva's routines, she is unsteady in her balances and doesn't hold them well, she falls out of her pivots or doesn't complete them, her fouettes are all over the place total lack of control there. Its more than just personal opinion. Not that I dislike Kabaeva but it sucks when she gets overscored despite the obvious mistakes and someone who performed better has to miss out on a medal.

Everyone seems to think that Kabaeva is so expressive but I don't really see it. And technically she is not that spectacular either, she doesn't hold her balances well and falls out of almost every turn she does. With Bessonova its so much more than that, she portrays so much emotion in all her routines and her interpretation is just brilliant. She did well and she deserves the victory. I wish her all the best in next year's Olympics.

This is a brilliant montage, but I wish you'd use the muzac a little better. I love how you use the lyrics to reflect what Anna's had to go through over the years, but at the climax of the song: "If you seize that one moment in time, make it SHINE!" I think it would have looked awesome if you'd had a shot of Anna in mid air in the over/splits, at the pinniacle of her brilliance. I think that would have been really effective x

That would not be true though, cause at least here in Mexico in the judging, if a judge is really off compared to the other ones, all the judges will get together to see what made that score go higher than the rest of them.
