When it comes to perverting the entire country's judicial arm of government in a country where the death penalty applies, I would say getting your "walking papers" is a mild punishment at best.

If right-wingers are sincerely concerned about homeland security, they ought to be piling on Gonzales and Bush, calling for their impeachment, over the issues raised in Sessions' questioning. All other things being equal, if any Dem had done this kind of job as AG, Gonzales would have been given his walking papers.

Fear? No, that's a bad motivator. Principles are much more important than coercion of politicians, with the use of fear. By the way, drop the "right-wingers" jargon, it doesn't do a thing for your arguments.
