the mechs and supply can also shoot at ground units when used with the Infantry units ability "Co-Op." They carrier rifles but for most of the battles they use grenades fired from there rifles at AFWs but they can fire on infantry units.

Something worth mentioning is that once anti-infantry units take out opposing infantry, they will focus fire on the AFW. They don't do a lot of damage, but they shoot very rapidly and can chip away a lot of health -- almost as much as Shooter hits.
