Grape fast - I ate as much as I could every day - it cleared my psoriasis up right well. look into kidney and lymph cleansing herbs for skin issues. continue eating well in between cleansing periods.
You should read the book called "the abs diet" by David Zinczenko. Excellent book and it's a 6 week program that makes sense and you can eat real food. Since you are a vegan you can still follow it with substitutions. I think you would really benefit from it and it's really easy to follow. I've learned so much from this book and realized I was doing everything wrong and eating the wrong foods. Good vids and good luck with everything!
Hello there! Have you considered intellectus diet (do a search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate lost a ton of weight with it.
Oh hello! Have you thought about intellectus diet (just google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend lost crazy amounts of weight with it.
Hey! I'm doing okay! I'm trying to eat more raw and my dermatologist gave me the okay to start taking Methotrexate again. I'll post a video update in a while, hopefuly after I've lost weight!
You're talking about how long it takes to make recipes and such...I think that is one of the bad directions that raw is heading. There are way too many recipes that are trying to simulate SAD foods which too me is not a good thing. I think part of the raw diet is trying to break those ties with SAD foods and when someone is eating raw but still trying to get the taste and feel of their old foods they are not doing a good job of breaking the ties.
100% raw food doesn't work for every one. As long as you find out what works for you, you're still incorporating raw foods into your diet, and you're still eating healthy... I say you're on a much better track than most people. ;) I like my diet raw, but I'm not entirely 100% raw. I find it's expensive, and if I'm not at home, it's hard to eat completely raw. I can understand. :) Kudos to you for trying to get healthy though, I'm on the same path! Best of luck, Nicole.
Glad to see you're finding your balance. Try a "Black Bean Quinoa Salad" filling and fulling of so many wondeful flavors. There are some recipes here on YT but I also found mine online on a vegan website - just can't remember which. I also found a Black Bean Burger which was tasty as well. Good luck and Thanks for the info on the BBC show.
I've sort of gone back to the diet you describe - a starch based diet or at least want to rely on that more rather than trying to be all raw. My goal this year was first to eat more local year around which is quite hard to do whilst raw. Keep up the work, just know we all are striving to improve ourselves and you are not alone!
I used to watch that show too, before I started the raw diet. She fun to watch, huh? Like the part where they analyze the poo!!! OMG! Best wishes to you.
Try 80/10/10 or high fruit/low-fat. You can eat all the salad and fruit you want. All day long. You'll be happy, have energy, and hopefully exercise with that.
I wish! Hardcore raw foodists have a hard time with 80/10/10, let alone me. I'm just going to try and stick with my plan for now and see where it takes me.
So glad you posted again. I love your posts. I cant stay 100% raw either much love and respect to those that can. Keep posting I would love to follow your journey.
Welcome back, Matt! Best wishes to you on your new venture. Also, I want to thank you for the recipes you posted that I discovered when I first started on my high raw lifestyle. The main thing is that you are healthy and happy!
This is a great idea of combining the diets. So you don't think candida has anything to do with it? I've been on topical steroids all my life an they never work permanently but if methotrexate works for you that's good. My only concern would be that you would flare and have to reapply it every now and again (from what you've said it's super powerful and can be dangerous) but if you can control flare ups you're good.
Thanks! Methotrexate is a once a week injection. My Dr said it's good to take breaks from it every now and then. It's not a cure, but it does help clear up my skin when I'm on it.
hey, welcome back! I find for myself not thinking about % when eating raw is best. Good luck with you new diet approach. Personally I am somewhere between 50-85% raw depending upon the day, and I am fine with that. I want where ever I am with food I want it to be what I crave. Maybe just try to keep in tons of greens with smoothies in that fancy blender you won. yea the fake meat is not really good for you and is highly processed. Breads are my enemy as well. Still working on that one.
