  • can you just have the sampler repeating a specific sample to the rythm of an audio trigger ? as opossed to the triggering simply beeing apllied to the echo of each chord

  • double rainbow ohh my god

  • Great demonstration! I didn't know that the DSD-Pedals can do this. A DSD-2 is quite on top of my BOSS wishlist.

  • Awesome demo man, I've been searching for a good looper/delay for a while and I just found the right one! Cool drum machine/gear as well...I like the Drumtrax.

  • @simpsons2170 Thanks for watching!

  • doesnt boss' slicer pedal do this kind of thing? Damn redundancy

  • Hey man, thanks for the sweet demo, interesting stuff.

I just wanted to ask, does either the delay or sampler mode repeat indefinitely with the feedback cranked, or is there some trail-off? I wasn't sure what you tweaked during the demo after seeing the settings at the start.

    Many thanks!

  • @doogdoogdoog i think it gets louder and goes nuclear. there's probably some sweet spot in there where it just holds at the level, but as you tweak the feedback knob you'd probably be swinging back and forth between making it louder and making it quieter

  • I love my DSD2 A guy gave it to me in 1988 I have never used the trigger But its one of the Best Delays real warm sound

  • @MrSandydillon My thoughts exactly. I never use it as a sampler, but I love warm "cushy" tone it has as an echo.

  • Also, one more question. Does the pedal remember the trigger you put in or do you have to repeat it every time you turn it on?

  • @OfftheTops you have to feed it the trigger constantly, it doesn't remember anything

  • Hey dude, awesome video. I'd never heard of this pedal until I saw this. I was about to get a DD20 but I think I'm going to get this first. Just wondering, can you tell me if you've tried using an ipod or anything for the trigger in? Just thinking, if you put a fruityloops pattern or a pattern from garageband onto your ipod, could you use that? I just don't have a Redrum, nor do I have the need for one...

Any help would be awesome. Cheers.

  • @OfftheTops any percussive sound loud enough should work. i remember making it trigger once by plugging in a microphone and hitting it with my palm!

  • @northwestpassage hitting the mic, not the pedal

  • That is awesome.

  • this was a great demo, thanks!

  • yep...this totally rocks!!..... :p

  • e2-e4-ish.

thank you. was looking for vid

  • Thanks man, very informative. Can you tell me, does the trigger in work when the pedal is in 'Sample' mode too? (ie. Will it trigger your sample in a rhythm that you program).

  • I just tried it and yes! It triggers the sample without even having to press the pedal. The downside is you're limited to 800ms max sample time.

Haha, thanks man, I didn't know it could do that! Maybe I'll put up another vid when I have some free time.

  • very cool vid! thank you!

that's what I was searching for

  • Oh my god, thank you. This is amazing. I might be getting one of these on the weekend, and you've made me want it even more. :D
