I saw the Canadian band The Sadies do this after we lost Johnny... I was unbelievable moved. We were so lucky to have the Ramones and I am still shocked and saddened that they are gone.

I know that the music lives on but oh my God they deserved more time!

Yeah, good call!! I idolized Johnny, Joey and DeeDee...particularly when I first started to like underground music (20 years ago, scary haha). So that's why I was so shocked when they passed.

Also,my aunt worked @ the recording studio they used to record at in NYC and she got me a b& w glossy pic,autographed by Joey himself(would've gotten the whole band but they were in studio practicing @ the time) all these years later-29 to be exact!-I still have it and I just turned 40! :-)
