I didn't realize how many responses I got on this video. Thank you. It's the 5th movement of the ending theme. Not To Zanarkand. I don't know why the video is out of sync but it is me playing. Watch my other videos if you don't believe lol ;) I can play the whole song I just didn't record it for whatever reason. It was three years ago I don't remember the reason.

Mehdital: "Ending Theme" has bits and peices of different songs from the game in it. If you listen to the full song, you hear the Hymn of the Fayth in the beginning too.

yeh the hymn of the fayth part is my favorite of the ending theme, and the slight modifications of to zanarkand in the ending theme i think are better than the original version

dude, its an audio lag, the notes are perfect, if you put them in a program you can match it up, some times the audio starts sooner or later then the video, it happens alot

The reason why I like the Ending theme is because it starts off mysterious and scary, then goes into a Opera type, then peaceful, then very loving. It's mixed yet a great music sheet. Kudos to the greatest Video Game Music Composer, Nobuo Uematsu.

Then later they end up not playing the game anymore so they never trully got to listen to the actual master piece. And that is the Ending on Final Fantasy X, and I personally love it. Nobuo Uematsu rules! This piece is actually "Zanarkand" and not the "Ending Theme" to FF X.

And despite the audio being out of sync, I do believe this video is authentic. You can tell by how the pianist accommodates by slowing down ever-so-slightly during the difficult passages. You still did an awesome job though! I do hope you'll post more performance pieces.

Just so everyone knows...that is me playing. The video runs slower than the sound for some reason. I used an incredibly crappy camera to capture the video...maybe that's why. But it's me.

i believe he was playing it. The sound is different from the original and you can really tel by the pace he plays. The sound went faster than the video. You could tell in the end, where there was a long pause. Anyway, Thanks for the vid.

For me, some videos I made of me playing, I tried to make it perfect and did it over and over until I gave up. If I messed up, I didn't care, but this sounds just like he is playing it, you can tell because of the way he holds the pedal, and also, he keeps on moving at the same pace. If he wasn't playing it, he would try to make it look like he was playing it. But the sound was going faster then the video, and he was playing normally, unless the video was going slower.

well if the video and the audio are not in sync, isn't the authenticity of pianist questionable? it also proves that a person cannot play the piece correctly at a high enough percentage rate and thus wishes to record it over and over again until he finally gets it right..
