Well of course it draws only .2 amps. YOU HAVE NO LOAD ON IT! Im not sure what your saying in this video, why dont you just plug the motor into the wall? Whats with the variac? How is this doing anything green except for what you are smoking? Just cause you get 116 volts at the output doesn't mean diddly. Current is the work not volts.
when you measure the Amps: You need to take a reading from two wires, "one wire first then the second wire next" that come from variac. Then you will get a true reading. But, the true test will be the self-looping. I hope you can do it.

yo le esribi a ECTOR y me contesto amablemente OSCAR y le preguntava mas sobre eseta sistema que para mi y para munchos es la mejor opcion a el desarte que se nos presentara de las tormentas solares nostros estamos trabajando en modificar el motor como generdor a la frecuencia de 50 y 60hzpara acomodar a este sistema pero no tubimos respusta de el saludos

I'll be looking forward to see how much input power will increase as you put on a load on the system. Also, you need to test prime mover motor each leg separately.
If this is what I think this is, you could've done it with one motor.
