It's not even real-ISTIC, for that matter. Like the oxygen tank explosion. Oxygen can't react with itself. There needs to be some other combustion reagent (a "fuel", if you will) to react with the oxygen, like hydrogen gas or methane gas, or a volatile organic fuel like gasoline. That way, it's in the air, well-mixed with the oxygen to guarantee a fast enough reaction to create a big boom. Unless... WAS there something in the air for the O2 to react with? If so, what?
