That was freakin close. After driving my BMW for a few months straight, then transitioning back to my Jeep Cherokee for the winter, I've had close calls similar to this just because of the difference in quality of the breaks. Very important!!

that always annoys me, when you're driving in the left lane and someone pulls in front of you who is doing much slower and you have to slam the brakes.

PLEASE if you're driving in the slow lane and you see someone coming, take a second look and try and guess their speed, even if they are far away they might be going a lot faster than you are.

@qettyz You only need ceramic brakes if you are on a race track where the brakes heat up alot. Better brakes wont make you stop faster... When you brake max, the abs will adjust the braking just before the lock, and you always have enough braking power to lock all wheels, even with original brakes. So better brakes wont really make you stop faster, like many people think. If you wanna stop fast you need good tyres and a good suspension

Thats a leston right there! Whne you see 2 or more trucks close to each other on the highway, always give a flash from your lights. When the truck makes a overtaking maneuver, it takes a lot more time than with a normal car, and it can not be done very fast, or the trailers loses balance....

Roy knows what he's doing, it was not as close a call as you would think, look at the video, he identified the truck moving over long before he even got close to the truck, he noticed the truck moving back right away and gunned it..if he noticed the truck wasn't going to move over so fast he would have rode the trucks rear..not crash into it. I also like the horn comment posted here, typical noob drivers spend more time worrying about when to use the horn instead of avoiding the crash.

The trucks fault Kuosta states. Truckers check their mirrors constantly and when the trucker looked in his mirror, the car would of been way back but because they were speeding the approach came quick. Most truckers would of kept coming over, you guys were very lucky. Drive with a margin...
