back then before the original legend of zelda came out and invented the ability to save games, games used passwords to get where u were before u failed-- err... died. yeah when u died, the game gave u password and u used it to get to the level u died at.

if it wasn't for zelda, we wouldn't be able to save our progress and we would be playing a jumping sidescroller.

Just played Skyrim on the NES and before you can face Alduin you must defeat (in no select order) Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, Spark Dragon, Snake Dragon, Shadow Dragon, Needle Dragon, Top Dragon and Hard Dragon. Each defeat of a dragon let's you gain a shout with similar effects to the defeated dragon, for example defeating Hard Dragon will give you the shout Dragon Skin which is 2x stronger then the Stone Skin spell.

In NES Skyrim there was Gravity Dragon, Wave Dragon, Stone Dragon, Gyro Dragon, Star Dragon, Charge Dragon, Napalm Dragon, and Crystal Dragon. Gravity gives you Unrelenting Force, Wave gives you Frost Breath, Stone gives you Dragon Skin, Gyro gives you Elemental Fury, Star gives you Clear Skies, Charge gives you Whirlwind Sprint, Napalm gives you Fire Breath...
