The TSA should be terminated. The security at airports had the same results before the TSA was invented. Remember the underware bomber was let through customs at a European airport with help from a VIP who seems to have dissapeared. Does that mean that all flights from Europe should be banned? No. It means American kids, elderly, veterans and everyone else in the US is a suspected terrorist. The Bill of Rights is history.
FAIL. Scanning passengers doesn't stop bombs from getting on airplanes. The aircrews, maintenance crews, cleaning & service crews, and baggage crews can place bombs on a plane. Also, most commercial airliners carry mail in the cargo hold so anyone with a few stamps can get a bomb onboard. Scanners are just a big FOR profit tax on passengers & has zero to do with terrorism. The shoe bomber & underwear bomber suspects were both gov't plants and part of the same CIA psyops given inert devices.
There has to be a better way. CHILDREN ARE NOT MINIATURE adults and the girl was 3 - she probably is most comfortable with her parents. To her, a stranger came up and started touching her. She does not understand WHY it happened. A better way must be considered for kids to make it more comfortable for them.

TSA searches are a time-waster, but I don't think this is child abuse. A lot of kids are suspicious of strangers. I was too at age 4. Having her bear taken from her temporarily would definitely set her off, especially if she were already tired, hungry, nauseated, cranky, etc.

FAIL. Scanning passengers doesn't stop bombs from getting on airplanes. The aircrews, maintenance crews, cleaning & service crews, and baggage crews can place bombs on a plane. Also, most commercial airliners carry mail in the cargo hold so anyone with a few stamps can get a bomb onboard. Scanners are just a big FOR profit tax on passengers & has zero to do with terrorism. I'm not saying patting down kids is right but if you know it might happen and let your kids know that and that it isn't a big deal it might be less traumatic for them. Airports can be a bit intimidating at the best of times so explaining thing ahead of time really helps
