my band oppened for them in their caracas, venezuela's concert so i got to meet all of them, i was impressed at how down to earth this guys were, they were awesome as always and everytime i watch this video i get chills remembering when mikael said "caracas finish this one if you will FINAL... RESISTANCE"!
i fucking want dark tranquillity to do the tour together with insomnium again!! fucking epic bands. without doubt the best melodic death metal bands ever!

Mikael Stanne is one of the most badass vocalists out there. Love his line "My name is Mikael and I like to scream" seen on their website when Fiction came out. Awesome ^^
I mean, The drummer sounds like a little child who has gotten into a music room and started beating the shit out of anything. The vocalists only talet is to scream out random noices that no one can understand. And the guitarists just play every cord they can at the same time.
Dark Tranquillity is the only band that i can FUCKING UNDERSTAND WHAT THE VOCALIST IS SAYING.
@imabadking He probably broke it pretty badly at some point in his life. If you want to see an extreme example just look at Brain Baldinger from NFL Network and Fox Sports. His right hand little finger is really bent sideways.
@DarkTran49 :D when you just watch a music video . Everyone's even JB's you can see that someone writes S/HE is the best ever !!!!!!! i am sure they are not the best band but not also bad ... We call it a little better than average ... There are Beatles Queens passed who the f.ck are they .
@MegapPlayer The fact that they are a lot less commercially successful it doesn't mean that they are not in the same league. I personally think that Beatles is most overrated band in rock&roll history.

@SixSinsFor66 That would depend on what your criteria for "best metal vocalist" would be. If we're going by growls and screams, I don't think Dane has even done any non-clean vocals since Sanctuary. Stanne's method of death growl is unique and dynamic; the fact that he's been singing like this for twenty years and still provides fair competition to other counterparts in the genre solidifies his position of one of the greatest metal vocalists alive, imo.
If you like Dark Tranquillity, you should check out Through the Flood. Their music has influenced us greatly and I think you'll enjoy our sound if you enjoy this style.
