I can't thank you enough I was about to buy the Q4 just a few minutes ago but I wanted to see some reviews before I made the purchase came across this video and that whole start button is the reason why I wont be getting it I dont want there to be a chance of me pressing that so I am going with the eightarc for sure
i hope u will answer me....should i go with the qanba q4?...the real issue i could see is the stick is close to the buttons...but the eightarc's buttons are more spread out...if i was to plug the first 2 buttons that wouldint be a issue....i found the quanba for 129 but cheapness over quality is another issue....i know u like to play with the eightarc...but is it a realy a issue?....please respond!...and the te sticks are 300 and up now!!!!
@MACKMAN10000 I never had an issue with the distance between the buttons and the stick. Just to be sure, though, I measured the distance on both the Qanba and the eightarc. They are the same distance apart (about 2"). The art in the Qanba. Makes it look closer, but it is the same. Like I said before the distance has never been an issue for me. Both are great sticks, so you aren't sacrificing quality if you go with qanba ($129? Great price!)
there shouldnt even be a reason for a DQ and if you do actually get DQed you should feel dumb because you can turn off the non playable buttons ie the xbox live button.
@KyleLaney87 There are a few differences worth nothing between the Fusion and TE. Both use quality Sanwa parts. However, the TE is a little easier to mod, the cord is longer, and (personal preference) I prefer where the start and select buttons are. The Fusion, however, has the felt bottom (an extremely good feature), and it is, of course, dual modded right out of the box.
Before shipping, the TE is $35 cheaper than the fusion. All said, I prefer the Fusion, but it's really personal preference.
@MadTurnip77 Yes, the buttons are just as responsive. In all truthfullness, I felt that they may have been too sensitive for me at first, but within a few hours I adjusted.
@bboystyles650 There are eight screws on the bottom of both sticks to get inside. So, not quite as easy to get to as the Madcatz. The parts are all quick disconnects, though, which is nice.

Thanks for your review mate, I think I'm going to get the Q4. The hori FS3 just isnt cutting the mustard anymore.

The only real difference with these sticks is the name and the start button, the eightarc uses THE EXACT SAME PARTS

The Fusion's $30 more for no real advantages.

Actually Big Ben makes these too for Europe. Their design is completely identical to Qanba except the Qanba logo is replaced with their logo.

Play-asia also has qanba for $129
would you say that the qanba would be the perfect stick for you if the start button was somewhere else?
right now I'm debating between a few sticks and the qanba looks really good in my opinion, and I doubt i'd accidently hit the start button
