I love doing this in FS2004, but I fly a Eurofighter Typhoon instead. I'm wondering if there's an Aurora for FS2004 but if there is it would be locked at Mach 4.65 and 99000 feet, which is as fast and high as FS2004 will let you go. I gotta upgrade to FSX...

The Aurora is an american black project, it uses an MHD propulsion system that allows it to fly at hypersonic speeds (10000kmh !!!)

The most incredible thing is that it flies whith 4 almost classical jet engines !

The MHD system is set before jet engines and then after. Before, it reduce the speed of the plasma (ionised air flow) and transform it into electricity, at the back, it's the contrary. That also avoids the destruction of the aircraft by the heat.

The Aurora wouldn't be a 'canyon carver', supposedly designed for Mach 5+, it would prob need an area the size of Nevada to do a 360 ;-)

As an aside, an SR-71 pilot made a funny comment about a time they were off course or "lost" on a mission. He said "you've never really been lost till you've been lost at Mach 3".

As for the X-Plane software itself, it has no TORRENT files. It is simply too big; the sim takes 60 GB and comes on 7 dual-layer DVDs. Downloading 600 MB is already a lot; can you imagine downloading 60 GB? :o

It is very difficult to pull a Cobra in XP... With the Su-27s currently available, I haven't been able to do one myself, though some people claim they've succeeded to pull one. And I don't have a joystick, which makes it even harder...
