hey i have a russian dwarf hamster called lenny and all he does is bite me but its not like its jus a wee nible he hangs on to me no u no anything i could do to stop him
first off start by just putting your hands into the cage so he can get used to the smell of you then put a treat into your hand and tempt him over, then he will associate your hand with getting a treat and realise you mean him no harm, just keep at it mine was tame within 4 days
hey thanks for the reply but every time i put my hand in the cage he will come over to me then bite me i dnt mean jus a nibble he accually hangs on to my hand i started wearing gloves wen im handling him but he keeps biteing the gloves really hard so im scared to take them off and handle him plz reply

Dwarf hamsters can eat up to the same amount as a Syrian because they have fast metabolisms.

@cadget95 PUT UR hand UNDER him , not as a danger. and wash ur hands becuz they maby smelld food or sumthing
