To open a booster, i insert the booster into my mouth, let it stick to the top of my jaw, and use my uvilla to rip the booster open. Then, I let the cards slip down my throat to my stomach, and let it dissolve. Then, reach in and take the only card remaining that hasn't dissolved. It's always the rare because only the mythics and the rares survive this process. This way, i don't have to cut myself because of the trash commons that I always get...

You can google the locations of these, and Wizards of the Coast has the location of every single one in the country. There, the players will explain the game to you, and the best way to start accumulating cards is to draft. (ask them about when their drafts are - most FNMS do both draft/constructed)
