I agree, the Chevy II is impressive, almost impressive as the 330 cubic inch GT500...but not quite. One things for sure, both are a damn slight more impressive than any sorry ass 5th gen on the planet, the same sorry ass 5th gen that is going to get buttraped by the Cobra Jet.

  • @Ls3guy The SCJ Mustang has no spray, the Lingenfelter LS9 Camaro is running a 2 stage nitrous kit with a .046 jet on the first stage and a .096 jet on the second stage...that it works out to about a 430 rear wheel shot. The information is out there dipshit. It also has ported heads and a custom sheetmetal double stacked intercooler. And yet it's still off by a second to the SCJ.

The GT500 heads slaughter the LS7 below .500" lift, slaughter the LS7s on velocity, and generally shits on the LS7s everywhere (including the real world) except on a flow bench above .600" lift. The Mustang is using no "NOS" whatsoever, what you need to read up on basic ICE theory dumbass. And 330 > 327 last I checked. I wonder why the new 5.0 puts down more to the wheels than the LS3 stock for stock or bolt on for bolt on, eh "LS3"guy?

  • @Ls3guy The GT500 flows 325 cfm at .500" @ 28" H2O on a 3.552" bore, but the point you are missing is that it is flowing a good 100 cfm over the LS7s up to about .250" lift, and maintains a solid 50 cfm advantage up until .450" lift. This is compared to the LS7, not the LS3. Guess where the valve hangs the longest, that's right, in the lower lift ranges by nature of the cam lobe profile. Guess what having two small intake valves mean?  Velocity. The GT500 head is a superior performance...

  • ...head compared to the LS7. The LS7 flows a good 360 cfm, but it's only advantage is all in the extremely high lift ranges. And due to the airflow characteristics of a multi-valve head (and pent roof combustion chamber), a 325 cfm 4V head will actually have SUPERIOR cylinder filling characteristics than a 360 cfm 2V wedge. The GT500s have propelled a 4.6, sans nitrous, to over 235 mph in the 1/4. The LS7s haven't. You are too ignorant to have an opinion on this.
