I watched this when it originally aired on TV. My father had just died and not surprisingly I was pretty upset. Nevertheless my joy at seeing this episode was profound and when Bad Manners started playing I wept not with sadness but with joy. It was great to see them again, and I was laughing and crying all at once - just the tonic I needed to lift my spirits. This was and will remain my favourite NMTB episode ever.

Well actually yes I am serious. I have seen them live a few times and I will admit it's not in the league of musical greats like Pink Floyd etc. But that's not the point. The band and the crowd are there just to have a good time and that's what we do.

If you don't like them fine, you don't have to but honestly there are worse things in the world to get angry about.
