I'm looking for a song that goes "Scott projects, the Pork & Beans, (Get into it)the Village, New Orleans, (get on up), Night Manor, the Graveyard. The song was females saying names of differnet cities and a guy comes into the song saying get on up and get into it. I can't remember the name or the artist. Does anyone know?
DAM! my boy kit would funk that trunk with this jam back in '86' nigga had four twelves just quakin the block!!!! This was the shit boy, everybody was rollin with funk back then, had to to have your shit thumpin or park your junk!
@Mrcjp37 I agree you hit on the head except I think it was just Miami Catz finding there way. Then NY didn't accept it so Luke said fuck it let's do Party Records
This was jam back in the Reno Club days while growing up in Drew, MS. Shouts out to Boy Jammin George and Super Jock and Sammy J. These DJ's ruled the Delta.
this was the shit, was on a lot of jam pony tapes we used to get at the oakland park flea, this sound is like bronx meets miami, miami made its own sound with 2 live and many others but a lot of cats came from new york and when the two cultures mixed this it what it sounded like, my opinion anyway
@miamiwax Thanx I was wondering I heard they were from down here. ya know it just shows that Hip-Hop existe in Miami ya dig im so tired of up north Catz screaming we killed hip-hop and what not. Corporate Amerikkka killed hip-hop when it made it a corveyor Belt ya dig. Also We killed it when we didn't preserve it as an Art Form NY is guilty as well. I never saw these catz feature Kurtis Blow, Mele Melle, Kool Herc etc. like Black Thought Said "Kool Herc never received a royalty check".
