Keep it up :) That's how I got him. Just giving him flowers and milk (later I realized the milk was a bad idea because it's so wasteful... you could sell the milk and just give him flowers!)

I'd say keep showing him the music sheets each day even though he says ???, and then yeah, take him to places like the yurt, bar, mansion and make sure you befriend lumina, gustafa, and griffin. Get the music toy from Gustafa too and then take away all his other toys from the toy box.

You get clothes by buying them from Van. Other people say you have to look in the mirror a lot, so just try that. I always look in it all the time because I think it's fun XD;

It's kindof slow and tedious sometimes, and if you don't use guides it can be pretty hard, but if you don't mind that stuff it's really fun. I don't mind that stuff and I love this game -- it's one of my favorites.

Do you have any exact time the third chapter starts? I was soo mad b/c I thought that the chapters changed every year and so I was playing my guy version and now I've finished a year and a half on that one and on my girl version I'm almost done with one year on chapter 2.

Sometimes they take two years. Some might take longer than 2 years but so far none have taken more than 2 years for me... I'm not much past the beginning of chapter 4 right now.

No, he's my son. You can only have sons in this game. It's the special edition for PS2 where you can have either a son or a daughter. But in this one it's only boys as children.

If you mean date a girl, you can only do it in A Wonderful Life and A Wonderful Life Special Edition

If you mean have a girl as a daughter, you can only do that in A Wonderful Life Special Edition on PS2, and I think it's random which sex your child is. There is a way to make the game choose a girl, though, but I don't know what it is.

I've played both. AnWL is better in most ways. Good differences:

can't change clothes, less things to get from neighbors, can't see animal's heart levels, no mirror, weird and strange tools are not as cool (boy build stamina, where girl sickle cuts several blocks of fodder in one swipe)
