Why ride the ruts? Put one side up on the edge . I do it with my 01 Vitara all the time. It's stock and I can keep up with my full size pickups

Indeed and the reality was that it was a good quarter mile of Land Rover sized ruts on very slippery wet clay with side slopes and unavoidable trees in places. It would have been impossible for him to have stayed out of the ruts. You simply had to get in and follow it through.

Nope! The Landy has got a Montego engine in it though, nothing else non standard.
The zook looked to be stock with Macho style tyres.

235-85 R 16 Malatessa Simex alikes.
Maybe look bigger due to higher bumper ends and the wheel in view drooping in to the rut.
Since then it's had a set of Rocky Mountain Parabolics, 1 ton extended shackles, +2" ProComp Dampers and +2" Goodridge brake lines.

im thnking of lifting my landy and getting some parabolics. ive got a set of 285/16s now, there good off road too!! where do u buy ur stuff from? paddocks?

Some from Paddocks some from local independants up here like Teesdale Land Rovers.
Parabolics and ProComps on mine where from Chris Perfect about 5 years ago, amazing improvement.
