wow such great memories. As a kid nearly all my first flights were on 737-200's. It was the mainstay of the european charter market in the early/mid 80's and could regularly be seen at pretty much any airport here in Britain. A great bird making a great noise!
it sounds like an fighter flying bye he? if its does its probebly cause its turbo jet engines not like 2days passager airplanes witch has turbo fans :p
@120jack920 They can fly much faster than that, actually. Do you realize that an airliner at cruise altitude and at cruise speed is typically flying between 500-550 MPH? (And the 747 is slightly faster- 560-600 MPH). That pass there is around 250.
well your house obviously isnt situated under a flightpath from a major international airport where a national airline is based there and used the 737-200's.... now fortunately ryanair switched to 800 winglets with the better engines
lol ya i am im right in the flight path of runway 31 busy airport but i love it reminds me of the hornets going over my house on take off along with the 727 and dc-9
and the position of the flaps has nothing to do wioth the altitude of a plane, but with the speed. the flaps werent down because the 737 flew with a rather high speed
Oh. Must have been another one then. There was an article in the paper about how this guy did a low fly-by in a boeing and got fired for it. Must be the wrong video.

the 737 engines look so dinky
rivetingcactus 1 year ago
@rivetingcactus so does your d*ck. Thoose were the low-bypass turbofan. All the ones from the 80s to present times have high-bypass turbofans.
mrmoerder 1 year ago
@rivetingcactus maybe so, but feeling the jet blast from them will change ur mind

@BurninC4rtrage I'm not sure of the engines on the 727, but listen to one of those on take off. Its not as loud as an FA 18, but its close..
