  • They're still doing it, and it's still open. Go to the meetup web site and look up the Hi Vancouver group.

  • hi Mr. Kimchiman1000 at 0:23 did u call that girl Bomi??? Kim,Bo Mi? i think we went to same school, she really looks like a friend of mine,,,

  • Maybe. I don't remember now.

    Sorry, dude.

  • I remember that there was a store on Kingsway, about half a mile east of Metrotown. It was called 푸른 나라, but I think the name was changed to 하버드 서적 later on. I haven't been there in a couple of years, so I don't know if the store is there anymore, but it may be worth a look.

Look on the north side of Kingsway, west of Imperial.

There are probably a lot of places downtown also, but I've never looked into it.

    Good luck

  • Are there any good places in Vancouver to buy Korean books or magazines?

  • Go to North Road Plaza and Hanin Plaza in Coquitlam, both are on North Road between Lougheed Hwy and Hwy 1. Lots of stores there that cater to the Korean community.

  • That church is on Main Street, no? If so, it's the same one where Hiroki Uchino was baptized.

Yeah, I'm still the same old Kimchiman.

  • Hey I recognized you! You used to be a mormon and you came out from it. I saw you last time with your wife at a Japanese church in Vancouver. I'm studying Korean on this weekend. You didn't even shave off your beard. Still the same Kimchiiman you are, eh?

  • whoa! you speak very well. i thought it was a Korean behind the camera.

  • I liked it!!"Git-R-Dug"

  • blergh, I like bulgogi much more :P. Although I don't mind Kimchi either.

  • Yeah. I know. Shameful, isn't it?

  • No Kimchi?
