I love the video aspects of this filming!! You create an atmosphere of being ''right there'' !! I'd double like this if they had a double like button!
like like like Todd thanks 4 this beautiful vid,i wished you visited the Dolmabahce palace where the Ottomans lived its very impressive, well next time you visit Istanbul i hope, bye
Awesome footage. The food sure looks good. 1000 year old lights? That is just amazing. Such beautiful buildings. Curious are they going to fix the peeled off paint, or is that considered something they want to keep? Toddatron, you are so lucky to get to go there!
before WW1 turkey was the jewell of the ottoman empire and it's sad to see it fall to ruin like this. the architecture is istanbul is magnificient. but u can only imagine how more amazing it would have been if the country survived the war like japan did. great choice of images todd. luv yur vids on the istanbul series!
The architecture in that city is amazing, especially the mosques. I agree with crazycabbar, it's great to see the city from the perspective of the average denizen. It seems like such an earthy, mystical place, Istanbul.
You realize that 11:11 is a most mystic number... Now you will see it everywhere you look! I would be SO sick if I worked on those boats! Yikes! The Kibla in Sulimmaniya Mosque is Amazingly beautiful. The lamps in the mosques that are not part of sets, were given to the mosque as an offering representing the light Islam brings to the believer. Some may be 1000 years old, or more.
how do you like it in turkey dude?? in lots of vlogs they try to show it as an arabic country.but im happy you are on the streets showing us what real istanbul and turkey looks like.a great mix !
@crazycabbar Turkey is awesome! I could only stay for 5 days not counting arrival and departure days. In those few days I felt like it was twice that long. Every big city has its issues..... I have lived in many. Istanbul is a great place and totally underrated.
@toddatron Why were you only able to stay for such a short amount of time? Also, what drew you to Turkey in the first place? Thank you for any replies you care to give to me.
@crazycabbar really???from all the vids i've watched so far of turkey, they make it seem like it's a perfect blend of the east and west considering it's strategic location near europe whilst still being located within the eastern part of the world. i want to visit so bad!!!!!!
@heomak you should try visiting turkey.not only istanbul.but you gotta watch for scammers .unfortunately many people will try to squeeze more money out of you.but since this is the case for many countries bargain a bit and you should be ok.try to use public transportation cuz not whole but a great deal of taxi drivers are scammers.they are scamming turks as well let alone tourists lol :D .also tours are great for a number of reasons but i suggest you find urself a local tour guide.
FREE TRIP TO ISTANBUL. I taught i saw talibans and stuff but it looks different.

The architecture & artworks of those mosques were impressive, especially the domes & archways up in the ceilings : )
