  • opening which factor you used?

  • nice nice! how did u do that? i have d90 since 1 year too, but i dont have a clue which options i need to set for a time laps movie :/

  • @HillingerStefan, there is no "setting". I used the Nikon ML-L3 (pressing it about 1000 times). Actually you need a "timer" that does it automatically. About 50$...

  • @FavoriteMovieScenes , oh! k.. thank u :)

i was collecting informations these days anyway and there is a software methode "NKRemote" where u need to connect with pc, and as u say a timer like "Phottix Nikos Timer Remote (N10)" .

gonna buy a macro lense the next days.. u have experience with that?

    greets from austria

  • @HillingerStefan macro lense: i do not own one, but if i had to buy i would check out the 60mm 2.8 AF-D Nikkor (used), 105 mm VR Nikkor (more expensive) or if you are a just-for-fun-macro-shooter: Tokina AT-X M35 PRO DX. "kenrockwell" and "photozone" got full reviews and sample images. / timer: i just bought a simple timer claimed "LCD Timer", guess, it's made by Aputure and well: it works. transporting & connecting PC / laptop: i'd rather have some beer with me ;)

  • @FavoriteMovieScenes cool, thx again!

i gonna check out your hints!

first macro and time laps movies comming soon ;)

    laters

  • Quite possibly the most boring video ive ever watched, cheers..

  • @CristenKelly, so let me know if you are damn sure, thx..

  • how this is pasible ? D90 record only 5 min od movie ?

  • @BPFunclub this is not d-movie but about 750 still images rendered to 1 video file.

  • D90 does not have ISO 100

  • @jdsmirkz of course it have, in the expanded menu you can choose ISO 100

  • Wow, didn't know the D90 can do timelapse... I have it and am still discovering things about it.

  • The D90 will not do it automatically, but try: 1. manual mode 2. releasing shutter w/ IR 1000x w/ coffee & patience :)

  • @FavoriteMovieScenes

    OR you download NKRemote.

You connect the camera to your pc, and then decide in which time interval you'd like to shoot, and how many photos you want. This is fully automatic - what's better yet, is that the photos, raw or jpeg, are saved on you computer, and not in your camera. This means that you can pretty much take as many photos you want, to create a really nice timelapse.

  • @ojkolsrud thank you for posting that! ill give it a try, and if succeed gonna link your channel +++++

  • @FavoriteMovieScenes

very nice. What software do you use for the timelapse? how do you set the computer to make the camera shoot when you want?

    thanks

  • @bluflag, check ojkolsrud's comment on this vid concerning "NKRemote" and well, I just used the IR remote control Nikon ML-L3 with manually (M) fixed aperture/time settings. then just importing about 750 files in a common video editing program as single frames generating a video, that's it!
