Easy Method i learned that go with the Ratio Across the Winding..Let say u want ratio 2:1, thats mean Primary Winding will be 2 time more than the Secondary..so taking that Example in our Primary Winding we have 1000 turns then out secoundary winding wud b 500,(2:1 Means 1=500 & 100 is 2 Ratio) Now if you aplyiing any voltage Like 120V then it wud step down to 55V,Remember 2:1 so 2=120Vold and 1 will b half which is 55V, winding wont see each other, its just induce without touching...gud lkk
