  • yup! gotta have your nuts!

  • the bible says we are to eat the fruit and herb not the meat so she's absolutely right.

Besides there will be NO meat eating in the new world to come once Yeshua comes again.. so everyone should get used to not eating MEAT lol. I love being vegetarian its the best I haven't gotten sick in 10 years.

  • @4MyNails Yeshua is coming like Santa Claus

  • KARMA

  • Eat healthy by by sparing animals.

  • TRUE. YOU DON'T NEED ANIMAL PRODUCTS TO SURVIVE

Many strong and intelligent animals are vegan like Horses,Elephants,Giraffe,Camels etc.

also watch the Docu 'EARTHLINGS' to know about the truth

    /watch?v=ce4DJh-L7Ys&feature=channel_video_title

  • Actually, she's really 22, she just can't remember how old she is,

because she became like this after a lifetime of a vegan diet.

(JUST KIDDING!) (I am vegan, for animals' sake.)

  • Wow!

  • Is she talking about the same Bible I have? The one where they eat fish, bugs, meat, and bread?

  • @samherb1 Shes talking about pre flood diet, where it clearly states God created FRUIT for us to eat... after the flood i would imagine all vegetation would have been destroyed, hence to survive he said that animals may be consumed... after the vegetation grew back people just kept on eating meat, most likely because people started migrating north and south of the equator... Not gonna find Oranges growing in Russia or Canada lol..

  • Looking great!

  • I'm not religious, but she is very much correct. And look at her, she looks incredible for her age.

  • yep, its all to read in the bible...:D

  • Try gluten free as well

  • @jammingwithmarley Im a gluten free vegan, too. You got any healthy recipes too share!!

  • It's totally legit. I stopped getting pimples when I stopped eating dairy and eggs. It's a lot of extra estrogen that none of us needs.

  • @graemhoek Yea me too

  • Ahhhhh! qué vacano!!! esa es la recompensa por no haber contribuido al maltrato y matanza animal..

  • Lots of fail in the comments here. She didn't live to be that old by being vegan. You can be a vegan and live off of Coca-Cola... She is that old because she ate fruits, vegetables and nuts and seeds, mostly. So abandon all your freak soy products + vegan cheese + milk. Not gonna give you longevity, no way in hell. Keep it simple with mostly fruits, some vegetables and minimal amount of nuts and seeds.

  • and people say vegans die young! XDDD

  • @blakmira Yes, right. Animals live THEIR OWN life, they are not created for humans' consumption like black people are not created for white and women are not created for men.

  • Awesomeness!

  • She looks amazing for 108. I would have thought by looking at her that she would be no older than 75/80.

  • I could never give up cheese and milk.

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 if you don't mind, please watch the featured video on my channel, an incredible speech by Gary Yourofsky.

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 H. Ford said, "A man who thinks he can and a man who thinks he can't are both right."

For me, the best action of my life (after not smoking/drinking) has been not consuming animals products. I was like you, completely brain washed to think that 1) APs were healthy sources of nutrition, and 2) I could not live without them. Man was I never more glad to be proved wrong! I quit dairy and eggs last, and the resulting health, both mentally and physically, is phenom!

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 You don't need to give up cheese & milk if you replace them w/ ingredients not made from animals - rice, almond, hemp, soy milk, etc. There's Daiya plant-based cheese & Vegan Gourmet mozzarella.

The dairy industry is even crueler than the meat industry. When baby cows are stolen from mothers to be made into veal, the mother cow cries in grief for 3 days. Insemination process is near bestiality. Watch the Conklin Dairy Farms video to see unbelievable cruelty

  • @blakmira I'm not vehemently opposed to such practices. However,I do support the reduction of meat (and related products) consumption due to the inefficiency of meat as a food source. As I understand it, a field that could feed 100 people with crops can only feed 10 people if used as cattle feed. Producing food more efficiently would feed more humans and thus save lives.

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 I used to say the same thing. As it turns out, some things are more important than satisfying a craving. Cutting down helps, though. That's how I started :)

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 I think you're mistaking "could" with "would."

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 Well gee what would you be looking for lettuce leaves and Special K? Come on. I am vegan nearly ten years all I seem to eat is chips/french fries sometimes. I have milk in my cuppa it just doesn't come from a calves mouth and I could have vegan cheese but actually even before I was vegan I had gotten a taste for hummus and still prefer it though I practically lived on cheese. You'd just need to find the thing for you. Don't kid that it's not there but it takes a little effort.

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 I used to say that too. Then I learned why people love it so much: it's literally addictive. The casein in dairy has opiates in it. It's to cause a bond between a nursing infant and the mother right after it's born, but then humans messed up the whole cycle by continuing to eat dairy well after weening. We're the only species that does. Food producers know it's addictive, so they put it in everything.

Easier to quit when you know why you love it so much.

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 Have you ever tryed 'So Delicious' coconut milk or Daiya cheese? They taste way better then the animal versions. Give them a shot, I bet you'll love em!

  • @LuluBre02 the dark chocolate almond milk, chocolate mint and cappuccino coconut milk, daiya cheese on nachos mmmm I'm hungry

  • @SpazzyMcGee1337 i thought that a couple weeks ago... the truth will make you throw up.

  • Second, animals don't keep each other in factory farmings in suffering conditions. This woman has lived in peace and harmony with her body, spirit and mind, and God has rewarded her with long life as real human being deserves.

  • And many "clever minds" also has told me that in wildlife animals killed and ate each other. LMAO! First, they are animals and it's wildlife. If humans really valued them higher than animals and "the crone of everything alive", they don't need to lower themselves to animals' level and kill other living beings. Predatory animals can't survive in other ways, but humans aren't predatory. It's not accidental we contrast humanity and beastly.

  • @grikuks I agree with some of your sentiments, but humans eating meat & killing animals has nothing to do with "lowering" themselves to an animal's level. That would imply that animals are "lower" or inferior to us, which they are not. They are equal. Some may even argue they are superior in some ways -- their senses are so much sharper, they have the capacity to feel unconditional love, & they don't need schools, weapons, governments or prisons to achieve harmony with nature!

  • All the soviet doctors told me that I will die young because I'm vegan. But this woman's experience makes me strong. I believe that life avoiding to make animals suffer is the right path with inner and physical harmony. I feel much better since I become vegan-in every aspect. God bless this woman; long live vegans.

  • She looks great. Yes her skin looks very young and I am sure her genetics plus diet and lifestyle are all at play in her longevity. I agree being a vegan does probably help.

  • vegetable, fruit, and nuts? what else?

  • way to go. yes it does say in bible.

  • I know an old woman living past 100 and she eats meat. While your diet can play a major role, it's just a matter of how well you take care of yourself throughout life.

  • @Illier1 This is less about challenging the notion that you can dance between the raindrops and live long on a lifetime of rotting flesh, and more about a response to idiots who claim that vegans cannnot live long, healthy, fulfilled lives.

  • LOL at all the butthurt meat eaters trying to formulate lame excuses. Enough is enough man, just stop.

  • @CuddlyBubbles1 Yes, meat eaters will always find an excuse. I think eating meat is primitive. Check out this video on it. /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM

  • beautiful skin!!

  • I'm a vegan, but I prefer to die at a younger age...living TOO long is against my views...who am I kidding? I'll end up to be immortal...

  • Old age is a disease we need to cure it.

  • В 108 лет такая кожа! БРАВО !!!!

  • not starting an arguement but ppl have been eating meat since we evolved and nature intends us to keep on doing it, thats why ours stomachs digest it and our teeth are made for BOTH vegies and meat.

  • @LawlzToTheWawlz then why is this lady 108 and still living without meat?

  • @iloveowls90 yes, frankly meat eaters say nonsense because they may feel guilty about eating meat. Check out this video. /watch?v=MzXlsTKndGA

  • @LawlzToTheWawlz Human intestines are way too lengthy to digest meat properly, which is why a large part of it festers & rots in the colon -- compared to a cat's extremely short intestines. Your teeth can't rip bone & raw flesh off a living animal & chew it, either. Have you tried?

  • @blakmira Yes great point. Veganism/Vegetarianism rules. I think eating meat is primitive? Check out this video! /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM

  • Veganism and vegetarianism rules watch?v=WWMnscY04AY

  • Check out my videos. Veganism/Vegetarianism rules. /watch?v=WWMnscY04AY

  • who cares about living that long, id rather live to 30 having had the time of my life

  • And smokers live to be 100 too, living to be that old is all about luck

  • @GamingTvx1 Wrong. Stop throwing your opinions and misleading us. Give me facts man.

  • Holy fuck! Did anyone else get scared when she paused "and....nuts....". Was scared she wasn't going to make it to the end of the video. I know it sounds mean but hey I was scared for her.... its compassion actually.

  • Has it ever occured to anyone that some people just cannot find veggies tasty? Why should you force yourself to eat something you dont even LIKE? Thats not a happy life at all. Im a veggie yes but I believe in the right to choose what you eat, because everyone has different tastes. I think tofu and eggplant is awesome, but most people think it tastes shitty. And its fine because its not my business how someone else chooses to eat.

  • @TotallyMaddHatter I don't find animals or veggies tasty so I eat humans. See the point? Just because someone does not enjoy the taste of fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds(which obviously is hard to live without) does not give justification to cause suffering.

  • @fuckingsickadventure

It's IMPOSSIBLE to live without. One can NOT survive on meat alone.

  • @fuckingsickadventure Brilliant!!!!!

  • @billybassman21

Eating meat can be very dangerous. Many people eat meat not know the importance of getting nutrition from other sources easily found in vegetables and fruit. Common signs are being VERY fat, heart disease, high blood pressure, discoloration in skin, liver disease, and being an ignorant dingus. Eating eat is possible and very easily for most people. It is better to eat vegetables and fruit in moderation and get on an overall healthy diet.

    See,I can sound ignorant too!

  • her skin is luminous! And she obviously does not have any dementia. Wonderful example of the long term effect of a vegan diet

  • @SisterSunshineTV ayyyyeeee i've been watching your videos for months now (been subbed for a while), saw your comment, are you being sarcastic?

  • WOOO flame war

  • Vegan diets can be very dangerous. Many people give up meat not knowing the importance of getting all their nutrients which are easily found in meat. They become malnourished and sick. Common signs are being very skinny, having pale skin, skin spots, tooth decay and sunken cheeks. A vegan diet is possible, but it is very hard for most people. It is better to eat meat in moderation and get on an overall healthy diet. Should you choose to is should be gradual and with the help of a nutritionist

  • @billybassman21 Ahhh, your blinders are on very tight. You believe all the lies, my friend. Wake up and smell the big business that comes from people who are BRAINWASHED to the core like you! I am so GLAD that I was able to see the truth. No one needs animal products period. It's DANGEROUS to eat animal products. TAKE OFF YOUR BLINDERS!!!

  • @vineyardedge Oh go have a vegan burger and shut up.

  • @TheObamaMorons

I am already subscribed to them lol

  • Class of 1921 Woo!!

  • Amazing, good for her! I don't think she is the oldest woman in Oregon though. I believe there is a woman in Cottage Grove that is over 110.

  • This is the way us humans were meant to live. Back in ancient times I grantee that no human today would kill an animal and cook it and eat it, nor would they suck on a cow's nipple to consume milk.

  • @DiversePersona Interesting guarantee. I've caught, killed, and cooked my own food before. But you might be right about nobody sucking on a cow's teats for milk: they used jars for that 4,000 years ago. They're like buckets, but older, see?

  • @pazPAPAS

Listen nigger. Milk is deadly to the human body as well as meat.

  • @DiversePersona I'm a vegetarian and I understand drinking another species's milk is not natural, but how does it kill your body?, please explain :)

  • @TheLycanjake1

Milk is saturated with fat and cholesterol

Milk is contaminated with cow’s blood, pus, pesticides, and hormones

Dairy is linked with allergies, constipation, obesity, heart disease and cancer

Cow’s milk can cause anemia in children

Dairy can result in insulin-dependent diabetes in the later years of life

Diary products actually cause osteoporosis. Chinese women who consume calcium from plant sources have lesser incidents of bone fractures in old age

  • @DiversePersona 'Milk is contaminated with cow’s blood, pus, pesticides, and hormones' that's only really in certain countries and where you get it from (mainly america has that problem).

What about eggs? is there anything wrong with them?

  • @TheLycanjake1

High in cholesterol, but high in protein. Eggs are a mixture of good and bad. Personally, I would not eat eggs. I find it disgusting because it is like I am eating a Chicken's period.

  • Respond to this video...

Milk has less protein than most vegetables

Milk does not cure peptic ulcer disease. It only offers temporary relief of pain. In the long run milk causes acidity and further destroys the stomach lining

Milk is carcinogenic. It contains a factor called as IGF-1. All cancer studies show that when IGF-1 rises in the body one gets cancer.

Milk has no fiber or complex carbs

  • wow... shes very sweet ...im happy for her.

  • Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

    genesis 1:29 new international version

  • so does she eat wheat?

  • She'd be a great preacher. The dairy industry has us all believing that it's good for us. We are a brainwashed society from commercials/advertisements.

  • wtf the bible? seriously? why they eat a freakin turkey and other meats at Thanks Giving!?

  • guys, stop saying he -.- SHES a SHE

  • Hahaha it's actually funny -- her name is Loreen, mine is Loreena, and we're both vegan! I just hope I look that good when I get old!

  • I think the newscast purposely edit the video for her to say bible and for us to believe in it even more...FUCKING PRICKS

  • @MrPotatoheadd Actually there is verses in the bible that makes it seem like we aren't suppose to eat meat. So it's not the newscast.

  • actually it's NOT there in the bible. The bible is full of war, murder, genocide, rape... you name it. they did lots of animal sacrifice and also ate all kinds of animals (some not, but for obscure reasons, never because of ethics).

  • @dulcetAirman

Human beings were vegans in the garden of eden before original sin was committed, according to the bible.

  • @dulcetAirman shes 108 give her a break lol, i've seen people get full on dementia by age 80

  • @dulcetAirman I'm pretty shure she has some cookbook that's called something like "the vegan bible" that she was referring to

  • @ferencowa - I think she means the lots of quotes in the bible like

"you shall not kill" or similar and many others that condemn killing other beings and eating meat.

I am no christian, so I cannot refer to the exact quotes, but there's lots of them.

    "google" it if you want.

  • @imtheuser12345 I was thinking the exact same thing! (I think almost every viewer was :P).

  • the word is pescaterian [ a vaegatarian who also eats fish]

  • bad ass man.. bad ass

  • Awwww haha!! you go girl :)

  • bible? screw u

  • lets see she's in an old folks home and can barely talk and looks like her memory sucks ROFL ....... FAIL..... If i lived that long i would want to be normal so who cares.......Bring on the MEAT

  • @terrillcase

Are you retarded? If she was a meat eater, she would be dead.

  • @Ingiequeen my grand mother is 99 and a meat eater :)

  • @kosm001

Mine's 101 and the same. She has exceptional genetic material though. It is not unheard of for a person eating meat to reach that age. Just very, very very rare.

Humans are natural herbivores. Our guts are long to push through decaying plant matter (Carnivores are short). We have jaws that move from side to side in a grinding motion (Carnivores and Omnivores only move up and down, and don't chew their food, they bite and swallow) We have no claws, big sharp teeth or big mouths.

  • @Ingiequeen I don't think that's rare at all, there are many people I know who are over their 80's and are eating meat, they are mostly friends of my parents.

You don't have to have big mouths in order to eat meat, we don't eat raw meat, we cook it and then we eat it, we have evolved in doing so, and I don't see what's the problem in it.

I've never heard of anyone who stayed away from junk food but included both meat and plants in their food to have any health problems

  • @Ingiequeen also I don't think that humans are herbivores. First of all the cell types that we have, their structure and how they function comes closer to that of natural omnivore animals. Also almost all herbivores have fermenting vats, but humans have no such things. Yes jaws may be an indicator that we're not meant to eat meat, but about teeth I don't agree at all. They are sharp enough to consume any meat. Don't confuse carnivores with omnivores, they are two totally different things.

  • @kosm001 If we were true meat eaters, then why can't we eat the meat raw and bloody, or at the very least, cook the blood with the meat. Many of the nutrients in the animal ARE in the animal's blood and the organ meats (liver, kidneys, brains, heart), and the thought of eating animal organs instead of animal muscles makes most people want to barf.

  • @rpmangin It's not the meat that would be the problem if we were to eat it raw, it is the bacteria that gathers on raw meat. Our intestines cannot digest bacteria, that is why we have to cook it, to kill the bacteria.

It's the same for vegetables (like what I mentioned in my comment you replied to), bacteria gathers on them. We cannot eat them straight out of the ground like many animals, who's intestines are designed to digest bacteria, that doesn't mean we should not be eating them.

  • @chaosproduction

    Doesn't make sense.

If you are a animal designed to eat meat, and plants. Then why can't you run up to a chicken, bite its head off, and eat it in the way it is. A true omnivore, or carnivore would be able to do that.

Even with the cooking of meat, why do you have such a hard time picking up a steak and ripping it apart with your teeth?

  • @rpmangin we CAN eat raw meat, but we don't because we have our intelligence to understand that there are a lot of "bad" bacteria on raw meat that need to be removed before actually consuming the it. It's healthier, and tastes way more better.

  • @kosm001 I have heard there are some cultures that actually DO eat raw meat, but they still do not eat the animal's blood with it, and I'm not sure even they eat much organ meats. For example, fish is a meat that is consumed raw relatively often, but people still gut the fish before eating it, despite that most of the nutrients lie in the fish's organs and blood.

  • @kosm001 ask yourself. does it make sense to eat a rotten corpse? what nutrients is in something that is rotten that your body really needs

  • @terrillcase

Shes in an old folks home because she is 108 FUCKING YEARS OLD. How is she not normal? The fact that there isn't dribble coming off her chin and that she can actually hold conversation confirms that she isn't in peril of keeling over. You're a fail you fucking dimwit, go ahead and eat your meat and live to a ripe old 70 years old. I'll stick with a vegetarian diet as the vegetarian animals on earth live the longest and are the strongest.

  • @LegendxWind Live the longest? So how come Mormons (who eat meat) have a higher life expectancy than Seven Day Adventists (Vegetarians)?

  • @chaosproduction

Because Mormons practice polygamy and get lots of pussy to keep them happy :).... seriously though, diet is only a slight factor when it comes to longevity. Vegetarians and vegans have longer life expectancies than normal omnivores do.

  • @LegendxWind I am aware of that. Both Seven Day Adventists and Mormons are rather health conscious (like vegetarians/vegans). So they are more likely to excercise more, cut the drink and smoking and cut the junk food. Of course diet alone will have a little or no effect on ones expectancy. But it goes to show how beneficial meat can actually be, Mormons and Adventists have almost identical lifestyles, but Mormons, who eat meat, generally have higher expectancies.

  • @chaosproduction

Meat isn't beneficial. There is nothing in meat that cannot be found in other sources, there are no exclusive nutrients in meat. I don't really care about Mormons and religious groups, if you look at societies that consume little to no amounts of meat (Okanawa) you will be shocked to learn most people make it to over 100 there. The societies in the world that eat the smallest amounts of meat are typically the longest living societies.

  • @LegendxWind If you watch the movie Fat Head, it explains alot about meat and it's effects on health. Below are some clips from the movie.

    watch?v=v8WA5wcaHp4

    watch?v=mNYlIcXynwE&feature=related

You should care, because it shows two similar groups, the only real difference been one cosumes meat, the other doesn't, you will see how the one that consumes meat has the higher life expactancy. So it just goes to show how meat free diets aren't much of a benefit to life expectancy.

  • @chaosproduction

North America's two biggest killers(Cancer+heart disease) are directly linked to excess red meat consumption. You should watch the documentary Forks Over Knives, or ask the American Heart Assocation what they think about vegetarian and vegan diets. It just goes to show how "important" meat really is. A human body does not need meat, meat is full of cholestoral and we produce our own, we do not need animal cholestoral or fat.

  • @LegendxWind Of course over eating meat will be damaging to your health, but that is no reason to condem it. You really only mention health problems caused by too much meat, as eating meat normally will have no negative effects on health. I don't really trust Forks Over Knives, I find it to be more vegetarian propaganda rather than a scientific documentary like Fat Head, which explains many interesting points like how High Cholestoral does not cause Heart Disease.

  • @chaosproduction

Fat Head is just as biased and propoganda filled as any other documentary. My whole beef, no pun intended, is with the meat industry in North America. 99% of meat comes from factory farms, that inject hormones and antibiotics into animals. North Americans on average eay 90 pounds of meat per person a year. High cholestoral leads to many health problems, animal fats lead to heart disease as well as cancer and this is only hightened with the excess consumption.

  • @LegendxWind Fat Head is not propaganda, it is a documentary that uses scientific facts and studies and information to prove its point. It is not created nor does it intend to change anyones views nor does it promote any particular belief or cause.

I can also see you didn't learn anything from those videos I sent you either, I consider you watch them again taking in mind it is not propaganda and not promoting any type of diet like Pro-veg films such as Forks over Knives.

  • @chaosproduction

And neither is Forks Over Knives. It is a documentary that uses scientific facts, studies, first hand accounts and reports, doctors reports and numerous other reliable resources. Forks Over Knives is merely promoting the idea that excess meat consumption is the leading cause of the biggest killers in NA (True) and is providing evidence why. You just won't accept it because it poses a situation of moral dissonance to you.

  • @LegendxWind Well I have already said over eating meat will have bad effects on your health. No question about it. But the problem is over-eating, not meat itself. Eating meat at sensible amounts will have no negative effects on health.

  • @LegendxWind (Second reply) And yes, Forks Over Knives is basically propaganda. It promotes a vegetarian diet, and therefore I do not trust it, like all vegetarian propaganda.

As for Fat Head, it does not promote an omnivore diet, it simply gives scientific facts and evidence to support why meat isn't as bad as it has been told e.g. High cholesterol causing Heart Disease is not true.

  • @chaosproduction

Than that is promoting an omnivore diet. If you say " meat isn't bad for you" then that is promoting eating meat, just as if saying "not eating meat is good for you" is promoting a vegetarian diet. The American Heart association says vegetarians and vegans have lower risks of many diseases and cancers, and they aren't pro vegan or vegetarian by any means. You can talk about Fat Head all you want, but the name speaks enough as to what the content is.

  • @LegendxWind The problem is many people do over eat meat, so such diseases will be more common. So you wouldn't be suprised that such people try to condemn meat, because the majority of the population are meat eaters, and over eat meat, therefore making such diseases in meat eaters more common. If every meat eater were to eat normal amounts, you would see how dramatically these diseases would fall.

Like a said before, the problem is over eating, not meat.

  • @chaosproduction

That is what I'm saying; every single damn commercial on TV is "Try the double down" "Try the baconator" "try some more meat on your meat" and the demand for meat is growing not declining, and the meat that people are eating is awful and antibiotic riddled. It's like I said as well, the problem is indeed overeating. The problem is that people don't want to cut down.

  • @chaosproduction Animals meant to consume meat, no matter how much, never, ever get arteriosclerosis. It's the number one killer of american humans. And that someone can live to be 108 as a vegan proves we don't need to harm animals.

  • @gyrate4 She is 108, but that does not show the causation, just a possible correlation. Like I said, meat isn't the problem, it is over eating. Fat Head explains alot of useful information about the effects on health from meat.

Mormons and Seven Day Adventists, both live very similar lifestyles, exercise, don't drink or smoke, except Mormons eat meat and Adventists are vegetarians. Yet Mormons on average have a higher expectancy than them, so a meat free diet doesn't really have effect on age.

  • @chaosproduction Dietary cholesterol has an adverse effect on over half the american population. 1 in 3 american adults have high blood pressure. Over ½ of Americans are on medication.

Nations that consume the most dairy have the highest rates of osteoporosis.

That world class athletes are going vegan, and all say their performance and recovery times have improved is significant as well, and it calls into question the morality of killing animals.

  • @gyrate4 These statistics fail to show the cause. Many americans tend to over eat alot, junk food and meat, as well as been avid drinkers and smokers.

    watch?v=v8WA5wcaHp4

    watch?v=kWZq0bx8cXA&feature=related

Some information about the dietary cholesterol correlation with meat myth.

Vegetarian diets have health benefits, no question about it. But well balanced omnivore diets are considered best as you get the right amount of the important nutrients naturally.

  • @chaosproduction Fat Head has Fallon and Enig in it. That's reason enough for me to never watch it. These ladies are lobbyists for the meat industry---they're purchased opinions. Watch "Forks Over Knives."

How can you dimiss that 83% of those following Ornish's program reverse heart diease? There's no amino acid or nutrient that can't be obtained from plants---we don't need meat. It's immoral to continue destroying the planet and animals.

  • @chaosproduction cooked meat is not natural, cooking kills off a lot of nutrients, if you want all the nutrients like you should be getting, train your body to eat raw meat, like other animals

  • @TheLycanjake1 Neither is cooked vegetables, but that's not a problem. We can't eat raw meat (this goes for vegetables also) because our intestines can't digest the bacteria with causes illness and infection. So we have to cook our meat to kill the bacteria, and wash/cook our vegetables to get rid of the bacteria.

  • @chaosproduction The only reason vegetables would have any "bacteria" on them would be if they were contaminated with animal faeces.

  • @Ingiequeen Vegetables will always have bacteria on them until you clean them. Eat a raw carrot straight out of the ground and see how sick you get. They are grown in dirt and muck, of course they are going to have bacteria on them. Don't you know why you need to wash your vegetables before you cook them?

  • @chaosproduction

    @kosm001

All I say is, get your blinders off.

  • @Ingiequeen Care to explain in further detail? Your saying I'm wrong and vegetables don't need to be washed nor do they have bacteria? Well then if that is the case you better start eating raw vegetables straight out of the ground, no worries it won't do a thing.

  • @chaosproduction

I should have rephrased that better, the reason people get sick from eating vegetables is IF they are contaminated by ecoli (which comes from animal manure) if the farming methods did not involve animal manure, you wouldn't be able to get ecoli from eating vegetables. It only comes from animal sources.

You can get an upset tummy I gather if you ate dirt, anyone could. It's full of microbes.

  • @Ingiequeen I can't believe I have to explain this. Since vegetables are grown in dirt (the ground) they gather bacteria. This is why they need to be washed.

Also fertilizer and pesticides are used in crop growth, another reasoning why vegetables need to be washed.

Also, when vegetables are displayed in stores, they can very easily gather bacteria and germs from the air and by been picked up and put back. This is why vegetables need to be washed.

  • @chaosproduction

I don't know if I ever said they don't need to be washed, but if I did that's not what I meant.

    Anyway, cheers.

  • @Ingiequeen You said 'the only reason vegetables would have any "bacteria" on them would be if they were contaminated with animal faeces''.

I was just showing you how that statement is wrong.

  • @terrillcase My grandpa is 80, meat eater, and he can barely talk.

    80.

That woman is 108 and he's ALIVE. How's she not normal?

  • Genesis 1:29 -And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

  • Nuts... I can give some nuts!!

  • the question is, HOW MUCH does she eat?

  • Fantastic and way to go! Hope you had an excellent 108th birthday celebration.

  • shame she mentioned the bible

  • @claireshrew she's an old lady, old ladies love the bible

  • Eating animals has nothing to do with religion. Meat eaters do it for power. They eat chickens and cows cause they're weak people don't eat lions because lions will eat the shit out of humans. I'm vegetarian, but this video makes me want to go vegan badly. She's living proof that herbivores are healthier. T-rex was a carnivore but where is he now? :p

  • @littlexbrownxbear well, there has been plenty of people that lived longer and credit drinking milk, eating fish etc

  • Many of the earths strongest animals are vegetarians.

  • fish = meat FACT

  • I thought that said "108 years old Virgin" holy shit.

  • @Abnormalproductions2

    Hahahahhaha lol xD.

  • Wonderful video :-)

  • Instead of arguing with each other, why not LISTEN to your own internal instincts about eating other live things. Get rid of the "noise" in life that clouds your brain and stops us from hearing our own intuition. I like what this one friend wrote, "You put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I'll buy you a new car."

  • So, as usual, the bible says a whole bunch of times not to do something, then turns around and says a whole bunch of times that you in fact, should, be doing that same thing.

So rather than throw out this book, we'll just argue about who's reading the right parts... Great.

  • for crying out loud, not religious in the slightest, how the hell do you know whether or not a person that lived all those years ago ate this or that? Unless you were actually there at the time you can't make that assumption. It is NOT a fact because it is written down in a story book, because that's what the bible is, it's not fact, it's fiction, it's all made up along the way!

  • @Efetida Didn't Jesus eat fish?
