  • Oh, I've fired this many times! And yes, it's excellent for clearing your sinuses.

But the Carl Gustav isn't a rocket launcher and doesn't fire a rocket but grenades (HEAT, HE, smoke etc).

  • i want some sexy subscribers! G

  • Me too!

  • Royal Marines put a hole in the side of an Argentine warship with one of those! That's how old these things are.

  • The basic model hasn't changed that much sin 1948, still in use today though.

  • Inaccurate and it feels like you have been kicked in the nuts, but they served us well for a while, british infantry had theese untill about 92.

  • The audio misses the "bell ring" sound that makes your eyes cross.

  • The bell ring happens if the rubber ring on the venturi is missing. There is a large rubber band on the back of the venturi to stop the viberation that causes this.

  • Even with the rubber band I recall being good for about three rounds as loader before my head didn't work.

  • Sadly True, Although it is excellent for clearing you sinuses if you have a cold

  • hmm for some reason my eyes arnt working, are these recoiless? id assume yes

  • Yes they are recoilless, They fire a 84 mm rocket about a foot long, If they where not the recoil would be like trying to shoulder fire an artillery piece.

  • It is not recoil you saw, it's the fact that after one millisecond the weapon is several kilo lighter and thus it's the soldier who pushed the weapon up a bit, not recoil.

  • thats what i figured..

    cheers

  • Boy, does that ever bring back memories!!

  • CARL G baby 84 fa life (Canadian Armoured Corps)

  • Swedish technology for the win.

  • This is used for hard targets eg bunker busting since canadian forces now use other options for anti tank role. It's a nice punch and would love to blow something up with it. Look up the round it fires and you will see why.

watch for backblast or you may get burned...;P

  • Glad you enjoyed the video

  • haha gotta remember to look behind ya to protect others =P

  • Hey Kap, I remember this range well ! I see the ground is still smoking from the RIDICULOUS fire we had to fight earlier !

  • Sounds like a summer concentration at Petawawa that was interrupted to fight a fire - oh, we were thrilled.
