why do americans always call it the Wrong side of the its Not for us its normal if u grew up here and go abroad its kind of werid for us to see ppl drive on the right but we get use to it pretty fast and alot of our roads are small
That's the absolute truth about the roads being narrow in England. The rural roads nearly scared me to death. There was one time that a huge semi was coming right at me, and I pulled over as far as I could to the bushes on the side of the road and I still thought he'd crush my little rental car like a tin can! I did like going on the freeways there, though. Funny that they call them "dual carriageways"!
dual carrageways are 2 lane roads (dual as in two...)
Freeways = Motorways
These roads are b-roads which, as the video makes obvious, are minor roads. Often these roads are national speed limit which means you can go 60mph down them and not get on the wrong side of the law.
Not all roads are like that though. That was a rural B-road. Its like me going on some random dirt track in the USA and saying the roads in the US are all.....dirt-tracks!
@techwork I did travel quite a few different types of roads while on vacation in England. It was just the real narrow ones that made me a bit nervous. Also the fact that I was sitting in what I was used to being the passenger side of the car and driving on the opposite side of the street! It all worked out in the end, but I'm afraid I frustrated quite a few native drivers with my driving skills. I know I got a few dirty looks!
That looks like the Yorkshire Moors. Am I right?

@spyder2001 Thanks so much for clarifying that for me. I appreciate being corrected, since nobody wants to be thought a fool. :D
