Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and comments. I have been working on learning clawhammer banjo lately so I do think some of that concept seeped into my ukulele playing while this tune was evolving. But its not really clawhammer that I'm doing here. I don't know what to call it either. But thats why I love the ukulele because its so versitile!
kind of an unusual style for uke, also, I'm hard put to say exactly where it's coming from, seemingly some kind of traditional guitar or banjo fingerpicking style. only it's so transparent and lovely on the uke, the way you do it.
