Nice. If this recording is from the 2001 San Diego show, that took place on August 15, 2001 and Danny Carey did not perform on The Construction of Light - the drumming was performed by P@t Mastelotto.

Nine minutes paralyzed listening to this facemelter. Now I'm imagining a supergroup composed of Robert Fripp and Adam Jones on guitar, Bull Bruford and Danny Carey on drums, Maynard on vocals, and Trey Gunn on Warr guitar.... That might just be TOO awesome....

@DemilichFan He is , with much respect to Tool and Adam, he can't play that. Adrian and Robert have spent too many years playing together to be anything other than seemless. This is not a perfect performance but there is no doubt it is the two of them! This song is steeped in Guitar Craft which is Roberts style and philosophy of guitar composition. I savor every note! I hope you enjoy. For any other doubters, that is Adrian singing toward the end.

@naklajat Why not Justin too? They all get along from what I can tell too. I remember reading Trey Gunns blog and he was very impressed with Chancellors rig. I remember reading that Chancellor uses a sans-amp preamp in between every effect he uses. So it comes out to 7 sansamps.
