  • Sensacional!!! FELA KUTI foi e será sempre FODA!!!!!

  • I think from the fact the concert has the word 70 in it should indicate that it's from 1970. I would be more interested in knowing where this took place.

  • FELA KUTI, THE MASTER, TEACHER, THE LEGEND, thank for the teachings!. any one knows if the song or intro from 0:30 to 2:09 its a part of any recorded song by fela, album? give us the name please : )

  • THE BLACK PRESIDENT! REST IN PEACE BABAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • is anyone going to tell us what the name of this video is??

  • Fela? or Zappa?!?!?

  • Double wahala.... deadbody get accident

  • I saw Fela more than 40 times, including rehearsals and live performances. His first shrine, ( kalakuta Republic) at Agege Motor Road, Idi-Oro, Lagos, was open to the public during rehearsals, and we always stopped over on our way from school. Fela was such a perfectionist. If any one made the slightest mistake, he would stop and chew the person out.

  • Way to go!!!! thanks for posting this is amazing, when i was young i watched a music show on the tv late one night and it featured Fela playing Army Arrangement. at the end of the video it said he had been imprisoned for a lengthy sentance, i thought damn i just discovered this amazing music and i'll never be able to see it live, many years passed and Fela was free and touring america and I had the chance to see him live Four! times

  • @escadrielle No problem. it's a shame I was too young to see him live.

  • @escadrielle wow where did you see him?

  • @escadrielle nice

  • i think this is glunstobury

  • amazing footage!

  • If Isaac was Black Moses then Fela was Black Jesus.

  • hola, some one knows the name of the first tracks on thie vid, the one before fela is anounced?

  • Col Mentality oh.

Fela was the MAN, even the oyinbo dey love am oh

  • He's still the man. is sons are not bad but his style is just on another level.

  • @Tendayi79 I was just thinking the same thing. He was the man. Many talents. Plus he was never afraid to take a stand.

  • Another legend who deserves more recognition is Baba Ani (the MC/announcer. He was older than Fela and he was with him till the end and still plays with the Egypt 80 Band Fela's metamorphosiis band still led by his son Seun Kuti). Baba Ani was a law graduate (hence his eloquence) and stayed with music till this date. Nigeria (Africa) is blessed

  • 1984 is the year

  • looking for a the song called colonial mentality.... anyone?

  • That is the song! That is the song!

"If U say U be Co-lo-niaal mmman,U don be slave man b4,dem don release U now,but U neva re-lease e urself..." The truest song ever.

  • co-sign. I would very much like to see Fela performing this.
