Yeah actuallyI have seen worst ones also, I just don't think they emphasise each step well enough. They kind of swing through each move. It's nice because its graceful. But the Song Danno Budunge song mixed with dance, that's what I can't handle. Like I said if it's to some other random song I wouldn't mind.

Hi princeztrouble, Im also a kandiyan dancer and I've learnt it since i was 5 years old. This is not the kandiyan basic steps and no where near it. swinging around side to side is not Kandiyan dancing. Yes u are right the clothing is bad enough but please know your own facts.

lol no I've been taught Kandiyan in Sri Lanka Kandy, :P my home town.

Then I taught it in NZ because most girls here are not aware of the traditional dances. I'm sure u r a good dancer and a real dancer don't say things like "I'm sure I'm better". The REAL dancers just know it :) Infact the more people know Kandiyan the better.
