My dear ragtimejim & anybody who shares his view:Smiling during old age is not all that easy, especially when there is so little support from our communities & families. Our society is a mess. Our grown children have too little sense of what is important & just & kind & healthy in life. People we love are going bankrupt, many have died, are deaf, blind, or have disabling diseases. And it is not accurate that people really show appreciation for "old people's wisdom". How do you SHOW it? DEEDS??
