I could be wrong, but near the end when Paul says "See you, Jack." isn't he saying goodbye to the guy who's voice you hear singing the song on the radio? Jack Jones? He was a young crooner in the style of Frank Sinatra, popular on what would now be classed as Adult Contemporary charts. The Beatles kind of just came in like a tsunami and washed that music virtually away, at least on a large number of radio stations. So indeed, "See you, Jack!"
