get ur shit straight, its not a parallel twin, its an inline twin. and putting an exhaust on inline twins sounds fucking great. inline 6's sound embarassing? wel i'm not a fan of the m3 inline 6 sound but toyota's supra and nissan's skyline sound amazing. if u don't like the sound why do u have an inline twin and will be upgrading to another? there are plenty of bikes in the same class that sound "better" so hop off and get on something else

definitely a good looking bike. I wish they'd make an R version using the ZX-6 engine/chassis rather than the 650R, just for a little more juice and to compete w/ the DUC 696 and Triumph Street triple....though the Suz gladius and SV are probably the main competition and those two are in the same power range as the ER6n.

Chubs I would respectfully disagree. I have not yet heard ANY pipe that sounds good on the U.S. EX 500 but some sound good on the 650, and this is one of them. It would be either this one or the Hindle Titanium for me.

I put an exhaust on my 3000gt which happens to be a v6. Sounds much better and I get compliments on it. I'm not embarrassed at all.

It doesn't have a gauge, but it does have a light that blinks when you go on reserve (30-40 miles), and all you do is go fill up. A lot easier, same with the 650R as well... getting mine soon, friend convinced me to get one.
