Well you see theres two kinds of Christian bands. You have "christian" bands like My Children My Bride who use Christianity as a gimmick to sell records then you have Christian bands like Impending Doom, Sleeping Gian and such that use the music to preach the Gospel. Just like in any scene u have to prove you're the real deal. And being a Christian means preaching the Gospel hun its the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ Himself.
Okay.. if you knew anything about this band, which it doesn't look like you do, the lyrics are seeing things through the eyes of (Tim's) christian perspective.

You have "christian" bands like My Children My Bride who use Christianity as a gimmick to sell records then you have Christian bands like Impending Doom, Sleeping Gian and such that use the music to preach the Gospel. Just like in any scene u have to prove you're the real deal. And being a Christian means preaching the Gospel hun its the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ Himself.

Okay.. if you knew anything about this band, which it doesn't look like you do, the lyrics are seeing things through the eyes of (Tim's) christian perspective.
You don't have to preach to be christian, even if "Jesus" says so himself. I highly doubt that every christian actually goes around telling everyone how good jesus is and how good it is to be one.

The first part you said was just ignorance. Some bands call themselves christian bands because their all christians regardless of what the songs are about.

if you read the lyrics... they are not preachy at all.. it's just (as I read somewhere) Tim's perspective of things through the eyes of christianity.

i dont give a piss if the band is christian or not personally, and if they write good music they are good. They arent saying GO JESUS GO YOUR MY SAVIOR YOUR MY HERO. they are just writing music in the eyes of christians. they arent preaching and even if they do, if you cant live listening to another persons opinion and ideals your going to have a rough time trying to live happy life.

This is really funny, how ONE person can start a HUGE fight over the INTERNET! how dumb is that? the only reason i started saying the werent a christian band was because i wanted to c how many ppl i could piss off and to c if i could convince some of the lesser fans.
