For those asking questions r/e the actual story of the Z-Boys & what happened to all of them, there is an amazing documentary 'Dogtown & Z-Boys' narrated by Sean Penn. It's in great detail & depth & has amazing stills, tons of video of all of them back in the 70's. Best part is much of the inside story is revealed by the actual Z-Boys in present day so you get to see them 'then & now'. They basically tell their own story, what it was like growing up there, surfing the pier, where it all began:)
