The light we see today from galaxies 13+ billion light years away has been traveling for over 13 billion years to get here. That means it started out more than 13 billion years ago.
Therefore, the cosmos is AT LEAST 13 Billion years old. You have already admitted that.
So, how do you explain it???

The idea that all you have to do is ask forgiveness and it's given is somewhat misguided. Ancient Christianity--Orthodox and Catholic--teaches that you will have to do reparation for your ill deeds. The only dogma is yours Mama. Forgiveness is a mental state. It comes from love. Forgiveness is non-condemnation & enouragement to change. Jesus said to the adulterous: "I do not condemn you. Go & sin no more". Each of us must comprehend forgiveness & impart it. It is not something divorced from the reality of each person. Currently you are like the blind guides Jesus talked about. He said: "Given they claim to know, they are guilty". Jesus said: :Forgive, as you will be forgiven".

Mama. Please do not speak of peace. Be peace. You are reciting words by the letter rather than via the spirit. Jesus was concerned with the spirit & not the letter. When you believe Jesus forgives you, you feel peace. Peace does not come from Jesus. It comes from forgiveness. If Jesus hated you, you would not feel peace. If you feel Jesus forgives you and redeems you, that comes from his love. It is love that redeems you. Please try to understand from your heart rather than from 'self' and from fear. The Buddha said depending on him & his teachings, human beings can find freedom from suffering & find peace. The Buddha did not teach mantra. The Buddha taught wisdom & understanding. Whilst the Buddha taught creation comes from nature, he also taught God believers that the way to union with God (Brahma) was via generating limitless love.

The Buddha advised many times for a husband to be faithful to his wife and that gambling & womanising can ruin a man. However, Buddhists do not condemn Tiger & are willing to accept him with love for how he is. @dwsutton Why do conservatives cite MSNBC as not being balanced? MSNBC's morning show is hosted by former GOP Congressman Joe Scarborough, and Pat Buchanan is a regular on most shows, including Rachel Maddow.
For Faux News to achieve that balance, they should give their morning show to Michael Moore and have Al Gore as a regular guest on Glen Beck. I've also yet to see an MSNBC host cry on cue.
