Cool, I just tried it. My mom always folded t-shirts that way (she is Japanese), but I was stubborn and did it the white person way. I think you get less wrinkles this way too.. no line down the middle of your shirt if it sits in your drawer for a long time. Japanese ppl also use drawers much more than closets, apartments and condos in japan are so freakin' small! Like 6x6 tatami.
