I think this series is good but when he said that God hates the misuse of drugs I thought that can't be right. God IS LOVE and will never hate. Those who misuse drugs will, I guess, be troubled by many things and perhaps be judged by God for it but we hope that they will at last repent and be open to God's mercy and forgiveness - hopefully before anything tragic happens. When people get defensive of their passions I think they often fail to see the bigger picture and hidden forces at work.

Einstein failed quantum mechanics. He was an athiest when it came to his contemporary Schrodingers theories.
So he didnt really understand how the universe worked. One could argue at even the most basic of levels. Schrodinger was right.
Plus, Einstein was wrong about Nazi Germanys nuclear weapons program. Just saying, besides relativity and photogenics, I dont think Einstein helps us measure things requiring faith

No, Einstein didn't understand how the universe worked...even he said that human beings have limited faculties in terms of understanding the cosmos... yet his perception of the universe was much more broad and enlightened than most men... and he was certainly smart enough to know that the bible was man made, and had been changed by man over and over... he was smart enough to know that it did not represent or elucidate any truth.

No, the fact that they didn't mention hip hop and hard core rap has nothing to do w/ it being a black thing. The ppl that made this film aren't black. Suicide solution is indeed about killing yourself (Bon Scott of ACDC drinking himself to death) but the overall message of the song is why doing this is BAD. It's an an ti-alcohol abuse anti-suicide song. Unfortunately, these people can't see anything past its face value.

I think this series is good but when he said that God hates the misuse of drugs I thought that can't be right. God IS LOVE and will never hate. Those who misuse drugs will, I guess, be troubled by many things and perhaps be judged by God for it but we hope that they will at last repent and be open to God's mercy and forgiveness - hopefully before anything tragic happens. When people get defensive of their passions I think they often fail to see the bigger picture and hidden forces at work.

okay i don't agree with the doc on very many occasions and that incident made have led James or Lars to write the song but nowhere in that song does it describe what u mentioned. Being about something & being influenced by something is two entire different things. Fade to Black is 1 of my favorite songs & probably is my favorite metallica song. It may have a different meeting to James when he's sing it but on the surface it is clearly about someone who is depressed and and wants his pain to end.
