  • Mr. J. B. Jeyaretnam will always be in our heart forever.

he is a great man who care for the people.

    i sulute u sir.

  • My final salute to you Mr. Jeyaratnem. :'(

  • His dreams will be come alive

  • Singapore's fallen Angel. R.I.P JBJ!

  • i bought his book when he was selling them at Tampines MRT... Been a radical democrat ever since

  • wah piang...never ending story leh...

  • why dont the opposition store their wealth away from singapore banks before playing politics so they won't get bankrupt? ALL of them will lose in court and get robbed anyway.

  • It is so very sad. I am now 19. When I was about 8 - 9 years of age I saw Mr. J. B. Jeyaretnam selling his books at Orchard Road wearing dirty clothing and eating out of a plastic bag. My parents purchased a copy of his book with his signature on the cover. I won't forget that very day when I was told who he was.

  • He was a true hero, a fighter willing to sacrifice everything for what he believed in.

  • Mr JBJ should be given a state funeral. He gave a lot to the country.

  • Would u like to give a state funeral to a Sri Lankan?

He is not a Singaporian thou..

  • For a man who has contributed to a lot to the country, he deserves a state funeral. But of course literally a non-Singaporean cannot be given one. And that is sad.

  • I thought Singaporean is just a nationality and not a race? A country for immigrants isn't it, which I can proudly say, we all are.

  • @maelalkhatib when u move from one continent to another, thats probably true migration, when you hop from one island to another (as in the malay Archipelago) its called pindah kampung (moving village), like if you from from Ubin to Sentosa.

  • @MrBinMohamad Bodohnya engkau ni

  • Mr J.B Jeyearetnam,

RIP.I'm sure your vision for a caring, fair and more humane Singapore would be realised one day.

  • Whether you agree with him on political issues, such as the methods of opposing the PAP,one thing is for sure, that is,Mr J.B Jeyaretnam is a great father who had raised his two sons to become useful persons in society. That despite his wife had passed away for so long,Mr Jeyaretnam did not remarry, showed that he is a faithful man and husband.I realised these after I and my mother had gone to Mr JBJ's funeral wake on friday evening.

  • A dedicated space has been built for JB Jeyaratnam at The Tranquil World . Com... You may pay your last respects to this great man there.
