why dont the opposition store their wealth away from singapore banks before playing politics so they won't get bankrupt? ALL of them will lose in court and get robbed anyway.
It is so very sad. I am now 19. When I was about 8 - 9 years of age I saw Mr. J. B. Jeyaretnam selling his books at Orchard Road wearing dirty clothing and eating out of a plastic bag. My parents purchased a copy of his book with his signature on the cover. I won't forget that very day when I was told who he was.
For a man who has contributed to a lot to the country, he deserves a state funeral. But of course literally a non-Singaporean cannot be given one. And that is sad.
@maelalkhatib when u move from one continent to another, thats probably true migration, when you hop from one island to another (as in the malay Archipelago) its called pindah kampung (moving village), like if you from from Ubin to Sentosa.
Whether you agree with him on political issues, such as the methods of opposing the PAP,one thing is for sure, that is,Mr J.B Jeyaretnam is a great father who had raised his two sons to become useful persons in society. That despite his wife had passed away for so long,Mr Jeyaretnam did not remarry, showed that he is a faithful man and husband.I realised these after I and my mother had gone to Mr JBJ's funeral wake on friday evening.
Mr. J. B. Jeyaretnam will always be in our heart forever.
he is a great man who care for the people.
i sulute u sir.

I thought Singaporean is just a nationality and not a race? A country for immigrants isn't it, which I can proudly say, we all are.
