Personally, I like Kataang, but I do understand why some people ship it. And I have to agree that, while I do like the pairing, it's entirely possible for them to grow apart as they grow older. Hell, most people don't marry their high school sweethearts because they mature and find out that they don't love each other anymore. To be honest, I'm a bit skeptical of most pairings with teenagers. I still watch it and hope for certain ones, but don't hold my breath.

I don't get it. By the end of the series (which the timeline from begining to the end is a little over one year, Aang would be THIRTEEN, Katara would be 15, and Zuko would be around 17 going on 18, I do not see the problem with Kataang. It's cute. Just a two year age difference like with "Zutara". Why do SO many fans concentrate on nothing but their ages? Most of the opposition to Kataang is based on nothing but shallowness when you think about it. I do not hate ANY ships just RABID shippers.

Complex relationship does not mean "destined to be", Zuko and Azula have a complex relationship, for one.

Personally, I like Kataang, but I do understand why some people ship it. And I have to agree that, while I do like the pairing, it's entirely possible for them to grow apart as they grow older. Hell, most people don't marry their high school sweethearts because they mature and find out that they don't love each other anymore. I find it funny that people say Zutara is the more popular couple, but this video seems to show that Kataang was more well responded-to by the audience. The Zuatarans are louder, but fewer in number significantly.

Seriously, if you ever think about it, the Katara and Aang thing is NASTY!I mean, I can definately accept Zuko and Katara, cause it actually makes sense, but a boy's creepy infactuation with a 14-year-old is gross.The kiss at the end was simply disgusting, not to mention how cliche, and it makes Katara a total cougar.But, we all knew it had to happen, besides, the series KICKED ASS nonetheless.
