Not to be a fanboy or anything but Mac Speech Recognition does whatever I say, but when I use Windows 7, it sucks bad.

I trained it over and over again; then it got to the point where it wont even recognize me saying "start listening", and then the piece of shite takes forever to use. It took me like 10 mins to write two sentences- that defeats the purpose! I understand the more u fiddle with it the better it works but it's awful and maks u not want to use it!

i agree but you have to train your computer to detect your voice...have you trained your computer?

Windows 7 speech recognition....... it SUCKS!!! I think XP speech dictation is a lot better than windows vista or 7 speech recognition! lol

Yep, thing is a piece of junk. It will hear me fine when doing the training, but wont understand 1 thing I say when actually trying to use it. "What was that?" I wanted to throw the thing out the window.
