@sstewar8 Thanks for the kind comments. I haven't actually parted with that much gear, The MC-303 was the first machine I bought as kind of a test to see if I was able to work with hardware before moving on to more expensive and more capable units I sold it last december because I hadn't sued it for about a year. The Nova was leant to me and I never got on too well with it so I didn't miss that much either. I always research before I buy and try to avoid being put off by gear snob reveiws.
Ahh love those sounds!!! Feels like I'm in the zone when I listen to this. Those synth sounds make the uncovering of the 727's sounds a sacred & blissful affair. Would love more info on the synth patching if you don't mind!!
@sstewar8 The synth came from a Novation Nova and a Roland MC-303 both of which I no longer own, I think the MC-303 was one of the organ patches although I can't remember which one and I think I made the Nova patch myself but again I can't remember anything about it. Sorry I can't be of any greater help.
@PHAEDRIDER The Hi Agogo Bell is tied to the trigger out on the 727. The two machines are literally exactly the same in every aspect other than the sounds...... (and for some reason the flam settings on the congas but it's such a trivial difference 95% of owners would never even notice it)
At basic level - pretty much. It has RCA jack outputs as well as headphone. So, send it off to a powered speaker or into your mixing board and you'll be up and running. It does have MIDI if you want to work it into your setup that way, as well.
wow we both think alike my friend, this sounds fantastic, i hope we could collab someday :')

Indeed a very effective synth stab. And with Roland sounds you can't go wrong anyway.

Dope vids you've uploaded here!
Are there any particular pieces of equipment you've parted with & then had pangs of sincere regret having given them up?
