to be honest i never even considered this to be possible but is it better than air cooling or water cooling? I'm going to build a hardcore gaming PC in the near future and i'd like to know if oil cooling would be a good way to go now that i know that it exists haha. it seems like there would be less maintenance but would it be recommended for gaming?
@07broly "Heat generated by the PC is transferred into the mineral oil at a rate over 5 times better than air"
Whether it would be practical or just a very awesome novelty is a different matter - think about how heavy this would be with the oil in it. You would definately be fine with liquid cooling (I run a liquid cooled pc overclocked and it runs all the latest games at top spec)
