nvidia makes the processing chip, the other companies are partners who buy the chips and incorporate the chips on to their video cards. Partner companies like EVGA, Zotac, XFX, etc...

well the minimum requirements on the gts 250 is 450 watts so your psu would work but i still recommend you get a more powerful psu like 500-650 watts. Not to mention this video card needs a 6-pin power connector but thats not a prolem because all gts 250 comes wit one.

Well if your planning on buying a graphics card from newegg theres some huge instant savings going on in nvdia graphic cards like the gts 250 and 275 and so on but i've only seen it on the evga models which i think are clocked higher and right now if i was allowed to i could buy a gts 250 evga for 70 bucks.... without rebate at newegg :DDDDD

i just got the Gigabyte GTS 250 1gb yesterday and it ROCKS! the new Zalman cooler is sooooo QUIET AND POWERFUL my computer is running non stop from 23.5 hours and temprature is still the same 40C and didnt go any farther and when playing for 4 hours the temprature never goes higher than 46C and i never got below 98 FPS in COD 4 and i didnt overclock it yet and i am playing on res. 1280X768 and i am gonna buy a 22 inch screen soon and i will post some videos while me playing

Is it really amazing? Obviously it's not gonna be a GTX295, but from my current 8500GT it will be a big step up, though it's a new card so theres no real reviews yet and I saw it on ebuyer for £125 and was curios about it. Try post some vids up soon, I'd love to see how it performs.
